About Tisha Lemus
Meet Tisha Lemus MS, RMHCI
Tisha is a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish) who brings warmth, compassion, and a strong clinical background to her work with adults. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University’s CACREP-accredited program, as well as a Master’s degree in Psychology. Using a person-centered approach, Tisha incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and positive psychology to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, caregiver stress, and other life challenges. As a native Spanish speaker, she is especially sensitive to the important role that culture, language, and personal experiences can play in the therapeutic process.
With extensive experience in healthcare, including medical research, clinical settings, and healthcare operations, Tisha brings a unique understanding of the connection between emotional and physical well-being. She strives to create a supportive, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Tisha is currently practicing as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern pursuing independent licensure under qualified clinical supervision in accordance with Florida law.
