About Alexandra Perez
Meet Alexandra Perez BcaBA, MSW Graduate Student Intern
Alexandra is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and Master of Social Work (MSW) Graduate Student Intern attending Florida Atlantic University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Behavior Analysis from Florida International University. Alexandra brings a rich clinical background to her work, having supported children and adolescents through behavioral challenges as well as providing compassionate care to oncology patients and their families.
At the heart of Alexandra’s practice is a client-centered philosophy built on trust, warmth, and genuine collaboration. She understands that behind every behavior or coping strategy is a unique personal story. By blending psychodynamic insight with structured tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and behavior analysis, Alexandra offers a balanced approach, helping clients make sense of their internal world while building practical, meaningful strategies for growth.
